Playing Nicely on Our Platform

Cowork World is built on fostering a respectful and productive environment for everyone. When you use our services, we ask that you do so in a way that contributes positively to our community. This means using the platform to genuinely connect, find spaces, and share useful information. We rely on you to not engage in any activities that are illegal, harmful, or disruptive. Please don't use our site to spam others, spread malware, harass users, impersonate anyone, or infringe on anyone's intellectual property rights. We want everyone to have a great experience here, so let's keep it friendly and constructive.

Your Creations and Our Platform

We know you might be sharing some great content – like your profile details, listings for your coworking space, or insightful comments. We want to be clear: you own the intellectual property rights to the content you create and post on Cowork World. However, by posting it, you grant Cowork World a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving our services. This lets us show your profile, display your listings, and generally make the platform work for you. As for Cowork World itself – including our website design, software, logos, trademarks, and all the content we've created – that's our property. Please don't copy, modify, or try to reverse engineer any part of our platform without our explicit permission.

What We're Responsible For (and What We're Not)

We're committed to providing you with a valuable and reliable service. However, like any online platform, we can't guarantee that everything will always be perfect, uninterrupted, or completely error-free. Cowork World is provided 'as is' and 'as available,' meaning we don't make any warranties about its flawless operation. It's also important to remember that while we connect you to spaces and other users, we don't endorse or guarantee the quality of any specific coworking space or the behavior of any individual user. You should always do your own research before making commitments. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cowork World won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our services. Our total liability to you for any claims related to the service will be limited to the amount you paid us in the last twelve months (if any), or $100, whichever is less. Lastly, if your actions on our platform lead to claims against us, you agree to protect and indemnify Cowork World from those claims.

When Our Journey Together Might End

We hope you'll be a long-time member of the Cowork World community! However, you're free to stop using our services at any time. If you wish to close your account, please contact us. On our side, we also reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Cowork World if you violate these Terms of Service, or if we believe your actions are harmful to other users or our platform. We'll usually try to give you notice, but in serious cases, we might need to act immediately. Even if your account is closed, some parts of these terms, like the intellectual property ownership and liability limitations, will still apply.
